OLLI Director Interviewed for “Aging Matters” Podcast
OLLI Director, Chris McLeod, was recently interviewed for the “Aging Matters” podcast, which is broadcast and hosted on-line by WPTF 680 News Radio, a local station serving the Research Triangle area. During the twenty-minute interview, Chris shared an overview of the OLLI at Duke program and its role as one of the ten largest among 122 national Osher Life Long Learning Institute programs. Chris also emphasized the key roles played by OLLI volunteers—for example, in developing courses that respond to member interests; in preparing the fall, winter, and spring course catalogues, in teaching the OLLI courses, and in maintaining OLLI’s vibrant social network. The OLLI mission and the vision and enthusiasm of its members help make the Research Triangle area one of the top destinations for retirees. To listen to the interview with Chris, click here.
