Membership and Registration

To attend OLLI at Duke classes, activities, and events, you must first remit $45 in non-refundable annual membership dues (payable when you first sign up for courses during the school year). If your membership has expired, our online registration system will automatically add a new membership to your cart when you enroll in courses.
There are four ways to purchase a membership:
- Automatically during registration
- Online prior to registration
- By phone
- By mail or in person

If you have been a member, but your membership has expired, our online registration system will automatically add a new membership to your cart when you enroll in courses.

Online before registration:
1. Click here to go to the Learnmore site. Be sure to double check the quantity field and the amount.
2. Click “Checkout”.

3. You will receive two emails for your username and password.

4. Follow the directions to checkout.

The OLLI catalog also contains a membership and registration form. You can deliver the form and your check, made payable to Duke University, to the Bishop’s House (We no longer encourage members to mail their registration forms)

Membership dues are non-refundable.

Register
Registration opens at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3, for classes held on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. Registration opens at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, for classes held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Online Registration: Before Registration Day

Please note: Because of security precautions, persons using the paper form must pay by check. If you prefer to use a credit card, you will need to register online or by phone.

Paper registration

You still have the option of registering using the form in the catalog. Please deliver or send your form to the Bishop’s House no sooner than Monday, December 2, and it will be processed on the appropriate Registration Day (s). Please note: no checks will be accepted from persons using the paper form. You will be invoiced after registration. You must pay within (5) business days of receiving the invoice, or you will lose your course registration. We charge a fee of $35 for all returned checks for insufficient funds. If you wish to pay by credit card, you must register online or by phone.

Registration by phone |
If you would like to register by phone, you may call the registration office (919-684-6259) any time after 9:00am on registration day. Please do not ask to register for classes prior to then.
Members will be registered in the order calls are received. If your call goes to voicemail because of heavy call volume, leave a message; a registration member will contact you as soon as possible in the order calls are received. Please do not leave multiple messages, since these only slow down the registration team. |
Refund Policy |
Requests for refunds for dropped courses must be received by the end of the first week of class. After that time, no refunds will be issued except in the event of an emergency, at the discretion of OLLI at Duke staff. There will be a $20 service charge per course dropped. If a course is cancelled by OLLI at Duke, no charge will be incurred by members. Please note: Membership dues are nonrefundable.
